G’day again everyone…
Thanks for all your support on the opening of this website…It’s great to be able to communicate with you…I wonder what took me so long to do this?
I guess first I’ll answer some of the questions I received because that’s what I know you want hear about…The rest of my thoughts are just an added bonus…
——————–
My middle name is Francis…It has been passed down from the males in my family tree for the last 3 generations…I didn’t give it to my own son though…My wife got to choose his name…
/ The animals I like are dogs. We have a cockapoo named Taylor (mix of Spaniel and poodle) back in America and tigers of course…When I was in university, my roommate had 2 snakes - feeding time was fun…
/ I usually listen to alternative music but I like hard rock to get me fired up for games….I don’t like country music or rap too much…
/ I started throwing side-arm in 2002 because my pitching coach for the Dogers Jim Colburn thought it would make it more difficult for left-handed batters to see my pitches…it was tough to control my pitches at first but he was right and I’ve done it ever since…..
——————–
Ok,so we are in Hiroshima and I am now a very happy guy because my comrades F(Fujikawa) and K(Kubota) are back and healthy and here to get us back on the right track…..I’m sure we can put the confidence back in the team that if we get a lead they can let us take care of the rest,so I look forward to getting back into that groove again……Plus, they are both fun guys to hang out with also so we’ll be having more fun too…
Congratulations to all the teams that participated in the summer Koshien tournament- there were some amazing games. Thanks for entertaining we pros also…
I feel for the champion pitcher who threw 4 straight complete games - I was wishing I could cut my age in half so I could come in and give him some relief…I bet he can’t lift his pen to do his homework right now…. What a strong heart he has….
Well, I will say goodnight now, as I have to be up early tomorrow to go to the gym. I’m getting a bit older now and I don’t want Sajikihara getting stronger than me just yet…
See you at the ballpark….
Cheers,

” G’day., this is Jeff Williams, pitcher for the Hanshin Tigers.
Firstly let me say welcome to my fan website. This is my first such site and I hope that it will be enjoyed by you fans.
I am excited to be giving you the opportunity to follow along with me through this site for the rest of the season and hopefully many more.
I will try to give you some insight into what things are like for me playing baseball for the tigers.
While many of you only see me on TV and at the stadiums and occasional interview, this will be your chance to get to know my personality a little better also.
There is more to me than just the crazy gaijin you see pitching
late in the tiger games…I think.
Well, we are now in the middle of our August trip and in Nagoya for games against Chunichi.
Obviously these are the most important of the season for us and we know it.
The pressure is on and that is something that I love so I’ll look forward to getting out there and giving it to the Dragons.
Ooh sorry, room service just arrived with my lunch (club sandwich and a cola) so I have to go for now.
Talk to you all again very soon.
Cheers,”
